It is my hope that the photographs from your session capture the beauty and love of your family in that exact moment. That when you look at your images twenty years from now, you'll remember the the sweetness of your newborn's skin, you'll feel the wiggles and joy while of holding your toddler in your arms, and you'll feel the pride while seeing your family together in images. Family Portraits
Each family session that I do is completely unique to you. There are no two families that are identical and I look forward to capturing yours. My goal is to put together a collection of images that freeze this time for your family. We may meet at your home where we can photograph you in your families natural habitat, favorite location or at the VIVID Photography Studio in Cold Spring. I love capturing traditional posed family portraits, but if your family has young ones the end result may not always be a flawless traditional portrait, but ones that capture your family's season of life.

Traditional Family Photo Session - $345
On-location family photography sessions can take place anywhere around Central Minnesota, including your home property. The studio is also an option if the weather isn’t cooperating or you would prefer a studio session. The focus is on multiple portraits of your family together, couple images, individual parents with children, siblings and individual portraits of each of your children. Once the main portraits are captured I love to incorporate a few lifestyle images.
Minimum of 30 retouched portraits - color and black and white versions of each.
One outside location and/or at the VIVID Photography Studio in Cold Spring.
30 minutes - 1 hour of shoot time.

Extended Family Photo Session - $445
On-location extended family photography sessions can take place anywhere around Central Minnesota, including your home property. The studio is also an option if the weather isn’t cooperating or you would prefer and a studio session. The focus is on multiple portraits of the whole extended family together, grandparents with grandchildren, grandparents with their grown children, siblings and individual family images of your grown children with their families. If time allows individuals of family members can be captured. Once the main portraits are captured I love to incorporate a few lifestyle images if you are interested. This is a perfect package for generational family portraits, reunions and anniversary celebrations.
Minimum of 35-40 retouched portraits - color and black and white versions of each.

On-location, storytelling family photography sessions can take place anywhere around Central Minnesota, including your home – where the heart of your family lies. All you have to do is be yourself, love on your family, let them be who they are, and I will document all the funny, beautiful, crazy moments that transpire throughout our time together. Every session is a custom experience from the start. You can simply go out for ice cream, play at the park, bake cookies, and truly enjoy any "I don't ever want to forget this" kind of moment. Unlike the Traditional Family Session session, these images are journalistic in style and completely candid. If you’re worried you won’t be getting those smiling images you’re used to, I can assure you there will be plenty of smiles, real expressions and emotion in your photos.
Fine Print
Approximately a month after the photos have been taken they will have been processed, you will have access to an online photo gallery that you can view, share, print or download your beautiful photos. (5-6 weeks during busy seasons.)
VIVID always includes the digital downloads, with print release, for you at no additional cost to you.
The session fee is due at the time of your photo session.
